ICF BANK AG is among the first companies in Germany to be registered as an EU Benchmark Administrator by the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (Bundesanstalt für Finanzdienstleistungsaufsicht,"BaFin") and entered into the ESMA register for benchmark administrators.
The introduction of the Benchmark Regulation enables legislators to fully regulate indices which are used as benchmarks for financial instruments and financial contracts to gauge the performance of an investment fund in order to protect investors an consumers. The Regulation is applicable in all EU member states.
